A Christmas favorite Grandma used to make. Rich almond shortbread rolled in sugar. Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups cake flour |
1 cup butter |
2/3 cup ground almonds |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients. 2. Form into cresent shapes and place on cookie sheets. 3. Chill overnight or several hours. 4. Bake at 350 til lightly brown on bottom. 5. While still warm roll in sugar. |
