From Yahoo group. Ingredients:
2/3 cup almond paste, room temperature |
2 tablespoons coffee liqueur |
1 teaspoon instant coffee powder (not granules) |
72 walnut halves |
8 ounces squares semisweet chocolate, melted |
Directions:
1. In bowl, combine almond paste, liqueur and coffee powder until smooth. 2. Spread 1/2 teaspoon mixture onto flat side of a walnut half. 3. Top with another walnut half, forming a sandwich. Repeat with remaining almond paste and nuts. 4. Dip one end of nut into melted chocolate. Place onto waxed paper lined pan. 5. Repeat with remaining filled nuts and chocolate. Chill for 30 minutes, or until set. 6. Cover with plastic wrap. Store in refrigerator. |
