Almond-Coconut Bars

Sweet, gooey and delicious!
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
2 large eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup coarsely chopped almonds
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
Directions:
1. Crust: Mix flour and sugar.
2. Cut in the margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Press firmly into a greased and floured 9 inch square cake pan.
4. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes.
5. Topping: Combine eggs, sugar, surup, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and beat together.
6. Stir in the nuts and coconut.
7. Spread evenly over the crust.
8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set and golden.
9. Cool thoroughly before cutting.
