ALMOND COATED DARK CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BALLS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Dawson Estate in Richardson, Texas in 1987. Ingredients:
1 pound smooth peanut butter |
1 stick softened butter |
1 pound powdered sugar |
3-1/2 cups rice krispies |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 pound dark chocolate melted |
2 cups chopped almonds |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except chocolate and almonds together until well blended. 2. Roll into balls then dip in chocolate then roll in nuts and place on cookie sheet in refrigerator until hardened. |
