Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened |
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
2/3 cup sugar |
1/2 cup baking cocoa |
2 -3 teaspoons almond extract |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 eggs |
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, sugars, cocoa and extracts until creamy. 2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 3. Combine the flour and baking soda; gradually add to sugar mixture. 4. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. 5. Bake at 375° for 7-9 minutes or until edges are firm. 6. Remove to wire racks to cool. |
