This crispy, crunchy side dish is one of our favorites. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine |
1/2 cup sliced blanched almond |
1 bunch celery, thick sliced |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons sherry wine |
Directions:
1. In lg skillet, melt butter. 2. Add almonds and saute for 1 minute. 3. Remove almonds with slotted spoon. 4. Add all other ingredients to skillet. 5. Cover and cook till crisp-tender, about 5-6 minutes. 6. Return almonds and mix well. |
