Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1 cup butter |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup milk |
2 cups unblanched whole almonds, ground |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease and flour cake pan. 3. Sift flour, salt and baking powder. 4. Beat together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and almond extract until light and fluffy. 5. Add flour and milk. 6. Beat until smooth. 7. Fold in ground nuts. 8. Spread batter in prepared pan. 9. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. |
