Almond Butter Balls - Danish Mandelsmørboller

Almond flavored cookies rolled in powdered sugar. From a Danish cooking site. Sounds very similar to a recipe my Mom makes for her Christmas cookie trays.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup chopped almonds
1 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and almond extracts and mix well. Stir in flour and fold in the chopped almonds. You may need an additional 1/2 cup of flour to get a good consistency.
2. Shape in small balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheets.
3. Bake in a preheated 350º oven about 20 minutes, until slightly browned. Roll in powdered sugar while warm. Or, for less mess, shake in a ziplock with powdered sugar while warm.
