Almond, Blueberry, and Brown Sugar Oatmeal (Flat Belly Diet!) |

Make it a Flat Belly Diet Meal by adding 12 cup orage juice. Ingredients:
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted |
2 cups 1% low-fat milk |
1 cup oatmeal |
3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1 cup fresh blueberries |
Directions:
1. Toast the almonds in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat,sitrringe often, for 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned and fragrant. Transfer to a plate and cool. 2. Combine the milk, oatmeal, sugar, vanilla, salt, and nutmeg in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until oatmeal is tender. Stir in the blueberries and sprinkle with almonds. |
