This is a recipe from my grandma. These bars are very easy to make, and they are safe for my nephew who is allergic to peanuts. Ingredients:
4 eggs |
2 cups sugar |
1 cup butter (melted) |
2 cups flour |
2 1/2 teaspoons almond extract |
confectioners' sugar |
Directions:
1. Beat Egg and sugar until lemon colored. Add butter flour and extract, mixx well. Spread into a greased 9x13 in pan, bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick into center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack srpinkle with confectioner's sugar. |
