All-in-One Pot Saucy Pasta |

I found this recipe in a Kraft What's Cooking magazine and thought that it looked really good, and since I love quick supper ideas, this one wins in my books. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 medium onion, chopped |
3 1/2 cups water |
1 (680 ml) jar of your favourite pasta sauce |
3 cups uncooked pasta (the original recipe calls for rotini) |
1 cup sliced mushrooms |
1 cup shredded cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and onion in large frying pan. 2. Add water, pasta sauce, and pasta. 3. Bring to a boil and cover. 4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. 5. Add mushrooms and continue cooking for 5 minutes. 6. Stir in cheese. |
