Ingredients:
1 cup dry red wine |
1/4 cup ketchup |
3 tablespoons dijon mustard |
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1 bay leaf |
1 (1 1/2-pound) lean boneless top round steak (about 1 1/2 inches thick) |

Directions:
1. Combine first 9 ingredients in a large heavy-duty, zip-top plastic bag; add steak, and seal bag. Marinate in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. 2. Remove steak from bag, reserving marinade; discard bay leaf. Place marinade in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Coat grill rack with cooking spray. Place steak on rack over hot coals (400° to 500°); grill 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness, basting with reserved marinade. 3. Slice steak diagonally across grain into thin slices. |
