I have used fat free creamer and that has worked and also have substituted non fat and light sour cream for the half and half and is still GREAT! I don't think you will find this recipe a disappointment! Ingredients:
2 c biscuit mix |
1 c butter (i mix half margarine and butter) |
1 c half and half |
1 c yellow cornmeal |
1/2 t baking soda |
1/2 t salt |
3/4 c sugar |
2 eggs, slightly beaten |
Directions:
1. Scald cream with butter, add to thoroughly mixed dry ingredients. Mix in eggs. Pour into a greased and floured 13x9 in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Allow to stand for several minutes before cutting. 2. Joyce'S Fine Cooking 3. ( /) |
