A wonderful creamy cheesy alfredo sauce. I compare all alfredo sauces to this one and none compare. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese |
2 teaspoons garlic powder |
2 cups milk |
6 ounces grated parmesan cheese |
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium sized pot and cook over medium heat. Stir constantly and make sure it doesn't burn. Will take a while for the cream cheese to blend nicely. I normally melt the cream cheese with the butter first and then add the milk and the remaining ingredients. Wonderful over fettucine noodles. |
