ALASKAN CUCUMBER SALMON DIP This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Davis Estate in Greenville, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
1 pound canned salmon |
1/2 pound cucumber peeled and diced |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup mayonnaise |
4 tablespoons sour cream |
2 teaspoons freshly chopped mint |
Directions:
1. Drain can of salmon then flake fish into bowl and set aside. 2. Put cucumber into another bowl and sprinkle with salt. 3. Allow to stand 15 minutes then rinse thoroughly. 4. Pat dry and mix into salmon with remaining ingredients. 5. Serve with pita toasts or assorted crackers. |
