Alaskan Beer Quick Bread by John McGhee. A great addition with any Alaskan beer and to any meal. Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups flour |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 (12 ounce) bottle alaskan amber beer |
Directions:
1. Mix together in a bowl, the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. 2. Add 12 ounces Alaskan Amber Beer*. 3. Mix until evenly moistened. 4. Bake in oiled loaf pan at 400°F for about 45 minutes. 5. Invert onto rack and remove pan. 6. Serve with butter& honey. 7. *You could probably substitute any brand of Amber beer in this recipe. |
