This is an excellent recipe for steamed PEI Mussels. Avoid overcooking, this will cause the meat in the mussels to shrink, Serve this with bread to soak up the broth, just so delicious!! Ingredients:
2 lbs mussels |
1/2 cup jost eagle tree muscat wine |
2 green onions, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped |
Directions:
1. Add ingredients to a small stockpot. Steam for two to three minutes, or until the mussels on top have opened. Makes 2 main course servings or 4 appetizer-size servings. |
