A pinch of saffron makes this mayonnaise-and-garlic-based aioli sauce special. Use it as a topping for grilled fish or fresh vegetables. Ingredients:
pinch of saffron |
1 tablespoon water |
1 cup mayonnaise |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Stir together saffron and water. Let stand 30 minutes. 2. Stir together saffron mixture, mayonnaise, and remaining ingredients. Cover and chill. |
