au this recipe is for a wonderful garlic dip or garlic sauce. Went to an Arabic store in Toledo (yippee, found one. ) and bought something called 'freekeh'. Never having heard of it before, I did an Internet search. I have not tried this one yet. Ingredients:
50 g garlic, bulb |
6 egg yolks |
50 ml lemon juice |
400 ml olive oil |
1 pinch salt |
1 pinch pepper |
Directions:
1. Remove all skin from the bulb of garlic. 2. Blend first four ingredients in a small food processor. 3. Add salt and pepper to taste. 4. May be used as a dip or a sauce for anything that should have a bite of garlic. 5. Enjoy! |
