Ahi Shoyu Poke with Limu/Onion |

this is a great hawaiian appetizer - a friend from the islands told me about it and it is one of my favorites!!! Ingredients:
2 lbs ahi |
1 whole round onion |
1/2 cup green onion |
1 tablespoon sesame seed oil |
1 tablespoon sesame seeds |
1 tablespoon minced garlic |
1/2 teaspoon minced ginger |
1 cup ogo (seaweed) |
3/4 cup shoyu |
Directions:
1. Cut ahi into 3/4 inch cubes and put into large mixing bowl. 2. Slice round onions, green onions and add to ahi. 3. Chop ogo very fine. 4. Add all ingredients to ahi and mix well. 5. Let stand 15 minutes. 6. Serves 4-8. |
