Olive oil and garlic sauce, simple, with a tone of EFAs Ingredients:
1 c. italian olive oil |
8 cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced |
1 c. water |
1 1/2 tsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped |
1/2 tsp. oregano |
1/2 tsp. freshly grated pepper, black |
1 tsp. salt |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, saute the garlic in oil over medium heat, until garlic is golden brown. 2. Add water and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Add parsley and seasonings; simmer uncovered another 10 minutes. 4. Combine thoroughly with pasta before serving. |
