ADDICTING CHOCOLATE PECAN SALTINE DELIGHTS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Thomason Estate in Wylie, Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
24 saltine crackers |
1 cup light brown sugar |
1/2 cup unsalted butter |
6 ounces chocolate chips |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Lay saltines side by side on a cookie sheet.
2. Heat brown sugar and butter until dissolved then pour over saltines and bake at 450 for 5 minutes.
3. Cover with chocolate chips and spread.
4. Sprinkle with pecans and allow to sit at room temperature for at least an hour.
