just a idea I had regarding squash! Ingredients:
2 medium acorn squash |
4 tablespoons honey |
4 tablespoons butter |
4 teaspoons sherry wine |
salt & pepper |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. cut each squash in half,remove seeds & place the 4 halfs cut side up in a baking dish filled with 1/2 inch water. 3. put 1 tablespoon each of honey,butter & 1 teaspoon of sherry in the center of each piece. 4. sprinkle with salt & pepper. 5. bake for 40 minuites or until tender when pricked with a fork. |
