Ingredients:
2 teaspoon(s) instant coffee |
1 1/2 cup(s) all-purpose flour |
3/4 cup(s) cocoa |
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
1 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon(s) cayenne |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 stick(s) butter softened |
1 1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Sift together first seven ingredients (through salt). 2. Cream butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl at medium speed, scaping down the sides. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until mixed. Add flour mixture. Mix at low speed until combined. Cover and chill for 1 hour. 3. Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. 4. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar two times and arrange on prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apar. Bake cookies until tops are cracked yet still soft, 10-11 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack. |
