Absolutely Yummy Yakitori Chicken |

I have had this recipe for 24 years. It's meant for a beginner cook, therefore it's easy! We love this! Time does not include marinating time. Ingredients:
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (or thighs) |
4 green onions, sliced in 1-inch lengths |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 tablespoons dry sherry |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger |
1 garlic clove, minced |
Directions:
1. Mix together everything except chicken and green onions. 2. Cut chicken into lengths, 1 wide. Marinate at least 3-4 hrs, even overnight. 3. Soak wooden skewers for 30 minutes. 4. 20 mins before serving, alternate pieces of chicken and green onion on skewers. 5. Broil or grill slowly over low heat for 10-15 mins, turning and basting with Teriyaki sauce. 6. Enjoy, YUMMY! |
