this recipe isnt THE healthiest, but better than plain ol' pancakes... works for me. Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour |
2 cups instant oatmeal |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
3 -4 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce |
3/4-1 cup nonfat milk (depends on how thick your batter is) |
2 beaten eggs |
2 tablespoons vanilla |
1 tablespoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1/2 cup drained crushed pineapple |
1/2 cup finely grated carrots or 1/2 cup baby pureed carrot |
3/4 cup golden raisin |
Directions:
1. beat all ingredients but the last three. 2. stir in last three ingredients. 3. batter will be thick. |
