This is for the pecan pie lovers out there, add a dallop of Cool Whip and your in heaven. Enjoy Ingredients:
1 cup white corn syrup |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/3 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup butter or margarine -- melted |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3 eggs -- slightly beaten |
1 pie shell (9 inch size) |
1 cup whole pecans -- shelled |
Directions:
1. Combine corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, butter or margarine (melted), and vanilla. 2. Mix well. Add slightly beaten eggs. Pour into unbaked 9-in. pie shell. 3. Sprinkle shelled whole pecans over all. 4. Bake in preheated 350F oven for approximately 45 minutes. |
