This is a Thanksgiving staple. Ingredients:
1 cup white rice (not instant) |
2 cups water |
1 quart whole milk |
1/2 cup sugar |
cinnamon |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan add rice and water; cook until the rice in tender (approx 30 min). 2. Add milk and simmer 60 min or until the milk is almost cooked out. 3. Remove from heat and add sugar and cinnamon to taste. 4. Place in fridge for 4 hours. |
