Abby's Buttermilk Pancakes

I have tried different pancake recipes on this site, but I still come back to my all time favorite. I have adapted this recipe to suit our taste. It's a breeze to put together, using minimal utensils. I use a non-stick griddle, but if you are using a frying pan, you may want to use a little Pam or butter to prevent sticking
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 cups buttermilk (or milk)
Directions:
1. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
2. Melt the 1 T butter in the microwave. Add the beaten egg and the buttermilk Fold the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until no flour is showing.
3. Heat a griddle until hot.
4. Pour approx 1/4 cup onto the griddle. When bubbles appear on surface, turn over and cook the other side.
