Beef Stew from Aaron's Mom Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 lb stewing beef |
1 cup carrot (chopped small) |
1 cup string bean (chopped small) |
1 onion (chopped small) |
3 garlic cloves (chopped) |
10 mushrooms |
1 lb bow tie pasta |
Directions:
1. Heat oil and butter. 2. Add chopped onions and cook until brown. 3. Add stew beef (coat first with flour). 4. When beef is brown, add garlic and mushrooms. 5. Stir. Cook 2 minutes. 6. Add string beans and carrots. 7. Add water to cover everything. 8. Season with pepper, salt, celery, salt, and marjoram (about 1/2 to 1 tsp). |
