Aaron's Mom's Beef & Pork Meat Loaf With Glaze |

Meatloaf that Aaron grew up with; my favorite part is the glaze. Ingredients:
1 cup cracker crumb |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
1/2 lb ground pork |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon sage |
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning or 1/4 teaspoon sausage seasoning |
2 eggs |
8 ounces tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon mustard |
3 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/4 cup ketchup |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all the ingredients listed up to Glaze . 2. If using a 5x13x13 shallow pan, bake for one hour. If using a loaf pan, bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. 3. Mix the glaze ingredients together thoroughly and serve as a side to the done meatloaf. |
