An easy and unique snack for your kids.It goes well with Tomato Ketchup.
Ingredients:
balls
500 g potatoes
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp dried pomegranate seeds(optional)
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 green chillies,finely chopped
salt to taste
1/4 cup fresh coriander,chopped
batter
1/2 cup gramflour
salt to taste
pinch of baking soda
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp oil
water
Directions:
1. For the batter,mix batter ingredients and enough water for a thin consistency batter.
2. Boil and skin potatoes.Mash well.
3. Mix balls ingredients in a bowl.
4. Shape into small balls about 1 inch in diameter.
5. Dip in the batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
6. Serve immediately with ketchup/tamarind chutney.
