An easy and unique snack for your kids.It goes well with Tomato Ketchup. Ingredients:
balls |
500 g potatoes |
1/2 tsp turmeric powder |
1 tsp red chilli powder |
1 tbsp dried pomegranate seeds(optional) |
1 tsp cumin seeds |
2 green chillies,finely chopped |
salt to taste |
1/4 cup fresh coriander,chopped |
batter |
1/2 cup gramflour |
salt to taste |
pinch of baking soda |
1/2 tsp red chilli powder |
1 tbsp oil |
water |
Directions:
1. For the batter,mix batter ingredients and enough water for a thin consistency batter. 2. Boil and skin potatoes.Mash well. 3. Mix balls ingredients in a bowl. 4. Shape into small balls about 1 inch in diameter. 5. Dip in the batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. 6. Serve immediately with ketchup/tamarind chutney. |
