Something I threw together, it turned out nicely. The kids liked it, thats a good sign. Ingredients:
2 cups rice, prepared |
1 lb ground turkey, cooked |
1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes |
1 (5 ounce) can tomato sauce |
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated |
1 teaspoon iodized salt |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
worcestershire sauce, to taste |
Directions:
1. Cook the rice, set aside. Cook the Ground Turkey, add the rest of ingredients. Then add to the rice. Let simmer for about 15mins. Serve. |
