A Different Seven Layer Salad

Here's another version of seven layer salad, but this recipe starts with spinach tortellini and uses no peas. It makes a nice change from the usual combination. You can use regular bacon in place of the canadian bacon for a change of taste.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sour cream (you can use no-fat)
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled (2oz)
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon dill
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 (16 ounce) package spinach tortellini (estimated package size)
6 cups spinach, torn (or use romaine)
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
2 roma tomatoes, chopped
4 green onions, chopped
2 1/2 ounces canadian bacon, cooked & cut in small pieces
Directions:
1. DRESSING:
2. Process all ingredients together and chill.
3. SALAD:.
4. Cook tortellini as per package directions (I prefer on the al dente side). Rinse in cold water.
5. In a 3 quart rectangular dish, layer the spinach (romaine), tortellini, mushrooms, tomatoes and green onions.
6. Pour dressing over and sprinkle with the bacon.
7. Cover and chill for 2 hours.
