                    Put vanilla soft serve on the top of this and make a root beer cake float! Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1 cup sugar  |  
                                                1/2 cup butter  |  
                                                1/2 tsp vanilla  |  
                                                2 eggs  |  
                                                2 cups flour  |  
                                                1 tbsp baking powder  |  
                                                1 tsp salt  |  
                                                2/3 cup a&w root beer  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Preheat oven to 375F. 2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. 3. Blend at low speed, then beat 3 minutes at medium speed. 4. Pour into a greased & floured 12x8 inch baking pan. 5. Bake for 30-35 minutes. 6. Icing: 7. 1 lb. powdered sugar 8. Chilled A&W Root Beer (as needed to make a thick icing) 9. Combine in mixer bowl & blend well. Beat till thick & fluffy.                              |
