This recipe calls for one of the three seasoning: chives, parsley or poultry seasoning. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup shortening |
1 cup milk |

Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients. 2. Add one of the seasonings. 3. Add milk to make a stiff dough. 4. When stew is close to being done, drop by small teaspoonsful into bubbling stew. 5. Simmer 10 minutes uncovered. 6. Simmer 10 minutes covered. |
