MOIST POUND CAKE MADE WITH 7-UP Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups butter ( 3 sticks) |
3 cups sugar |
5 eggs |
3/4 cup 7- up |
2 tablespoons lemon flavoring |
3 cups flour |
Directions:
1. CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR FOR 20 MINUTES. 2. ADD EGGS ONE AT A TIME, BEATING WELL. 3. THEN ADD 7-UP AND LEMON FLAVORING. 4. BEAT WELL 5. ADD FLOUR A LITTLE AT A TIME. 6. PUT IN A GREASED AND FLOURED BUNDT PAN. 7. BAKE AT 325 DEGREES FOR ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES.......REMOVE AND SERVE............ 8. OPTIONAL;....... A GLAZED ICING OVER THE POUND CAKE |
