This is so easy and quick. Hubby LOVES this for some reason and so do people I make it for. I dont like corn much but it is good. I primarily make this for people with colds the ginger and broth is very soothing and helpful. Ingredients:
4 cups chicken or vegetable stock |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
salt and pepper to taste |
2 cans cream corn soup |
2 chopped green onions |
1 tsp cornstarch with 4 tsp's water(slurry) |
a few drops sesame oil |
2-4 slices ginger(optional) |
Directions:
1. bring broth to boil 2. Stir in soy sauce and salt and pepper 3. Add corn. Bring to reboil. 4. Give the slurry a quick restir and add to soup stirring quickly to thicken. 5. Stir in green onion. 6. Add ginger if desired. 7. Finish with drops of sesame oil. 8. Serve! |
