A friend sent me this one- making the email rounds. Sounds pretty tasty. I'll be making it soon. My suggestion is that your mug is big enough for expansion And of course, spriz the finished cake with whipped cream. Read more . Update: use a mug that holds more than 8 oz, otherwise one can't mix the dry ingredients well and that it almost fills to the top without the liquids added. This has great potential and I am sure less cooking will be the answer. Oh its for 2 people, easily or one hungry chocholate cake lover Oh I also concocted a cherry mug cake and do look that up too . Ingredients:
1 coffee mug |
4 tablespoons flour(that's plain flour, not self-rising) |
4 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons baking cocoa |
1 egg |
3 tablespoons milk |
3 tablespoons oil |
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional) some nuts (optional) |
small splash of vanilla |
Directions:
1. Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well . 2. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. 3. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. 4. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again. 5. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high. 6. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! 7. Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. 8. EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!) 9. And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? 10. Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake any time of the day or night |
