Awesome bun recipe. You will never want store bought again when you find out how easy this recipe is to make. My families absolute favorite. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons dry yeast |
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons warm water (110 degrees) |
1/3 cup veg. oil |
1/4 cup sugar |
add |
1 tsp. salt |
1 egg |
3-3 1/2 cups all purpose flour |
Directions:
1. Knead until smooth and elastic about 3-5 minutes. 2. Do NOT let rise. 3. Shape into 12 pieces; shape each into a ball. 4. Place 3 inches apart on greased baking sheets. 5. Cover and let rise 10 minutes. 6. Bake 425 degrees for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown. 7. Remove from oven and place on wire racks to cool. |
