A classic recipe for my family, affectionately referred to as Yum-Yum Pie . You can't get more sophisticated than that. Ingredients:
7/8 cup margarine |
1 1/2 cups flour |
2 tablespoons sugar |
3/4 cup chopped pecans |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese |
1 1/2 cups cool whip |
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar |
3 cups milk |
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package chocolate instant pudding |
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding |

Directions:
1. CRUST:. 2. Cream together the margarine, flour, sugar and pecans for the crust. 3. Spread in the bottom of an 8x13 baking pan. 4. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit; cool. 5. SECOND LAYER:. 6. Mix the cream cheese, Cool Whip, and powdered sugar together until creamy. 7. Spread over cooled crust. 8. THIRD LAYER:. 9. Whip milk, chocolate and vanilla puddings until thick. 10. Spread over cheese mixture. 11. FOURTH LAYER:. 12. Spread remaining Cool Whip on top; chill. |
