My mother has been making this recipe for about 30 years. Ingredients:
6 potatoes, peeled and sliced |
2 cans crushed tomatoes |
2 cups rice |
1 lb ground turkey |
Directions:
1. Brown ground turkey breast in large skillet. 2. In a small to medium sized casserole dish start layering starting with the browned turkey breast on the bottom. 3. Next lay out the slices of potatoes on top, then sprinkle the rice and top with tomatoes and keep the layers going until all ingredients are used up. 4. Place in a preheated oven at 350 for about 1-1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are soft. |
