This recipe goes with Fried Apple Pies Ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup butter or margarine |
3/4 to 1 cup cold water |
Directions:
1. Combine first 3 ingredients; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle water over flour mixture; stir with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape dough into a ball, and wrap in waxed paper; chill at least 1 hour or until ready to use. |
