An easy way to make homemade cookies for the holidays or any day! Ingredients:
4-1 cookie mix |
4 cups flour |
1 1/4 cup sugar |
1 1/4 cup brown sugar |
3 teaspoons baking soda |
1 1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cup shortening |
***cookie recipes |
***chocolate chip cookies |
2 1/2 cups mix |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 egg |
1 cup chips |
1/2 cup nuts |
***spice cookies |
2 1/2 cups mix |
1 teaspoon lemon extract |
1/2 cup raisins |
1/2 cup nuts (optional) |
1 teaspoon cinnamon or allspice |
***peanut butter cookies |
2 cups mix |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
***banana cookies |
2 1/2 cups mix |
1/2 cup mashed banana |
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 egg |
1/2 cup nuts (optional) |
4-1 cookie mix |
mix ingredients until crumbly. store in air tight container. |
to make cookies: preheat oven to 375f. combine cookie ingredients. drop onto baking sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes or until done. |
