This pulled pork could not be easier! I used a pork loin roast for this but you could used tenderloin. I trimmed off the huge slab of fat on the side but you don't have to. I also used about 16 oz of homemade BBQ instead of the bottled stuff. The pork turned out very tender! I served this on toasted hamburger buns with creamy slaw, pickles, and some hot sauce. Ingredients:
2 lbs pork loin roast |
1 (12 ounce) can root beer |
16 ounces barbecue sauce |
Directions:
1. Trim off excess fat, if desired. 2. Place roast in slow cooker. Pour in can of root beer. 3. Cook, covered, on LOW heat for 6 hours. 4. Drain away liquid and shred pork with fork. 5. Stir in BBQ sauce. Serve as desired. |
