3 cheese manicotti the traditional way but with added spinach. Ingredients:
8 ounce manicotti shells |
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided |
2 cups ricotta cheese |
1 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided |
1 tbsp minced garlic |
1 egg |
52 ounce pasta sauce |
1 cup spinach |
Directions:
1. Directions: 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. 3. In a bowl, mix 3 cups mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, garlic, egg, cooked spinach and basil. 4. Stuff uncooked manicotti with the mixture. 5. Spread about 2 cups pasta sauce over the bottom of the prepared baking dish. 6. Arrange stuffed manicotti in the dish, and cover with remaining sauce. 7. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese. 8. Bake about 45 minutes in the preheated oven. 9. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan, and continue baking 10 minutes, until mozzarella is melted and bubbly. |
