I have not made these cookies....but they sound great and wanted to share them with everyone...I have no idea how many they make...This recipe came out of my Capitol Cookies Cookbook.... These are called $250.00 cookies. Read more ... the title didnt take it right.... Ingredients:
2 cups butter |
2 cups brown sugar |
5 cups blended oatmeal (meausre first, then blend into fine powder) |
1 teaspoon salt |
24 ounces chocolate chips |
1 hershey bar, grated (8 oz) |
2 cups sugar |
4 cups flour |
4 eggs |
3 cups chopped pecans |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and both sugars together. 2. Add eggs and vanilla. 3. Mix together, in separate bowl, flour, otameal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. 4. Slowly add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. 5. Add chocolate chips, grated Hershey Bar and nuts, 6. Roll into balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. 7. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. 8. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes. |
