Adapted from Lyn Jarvis' recipe, Across the Fence. ground turkey or beef, onion, canned vegetarian baked beans, canned diced tomatoes, canned condensed tomato soup, brown sugar, chili powder cvt Ingredients:
12 ounces 90% ground beef crumbles (23565), net from 16 ounces fresh |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
15 3/4 oz. (canned) vegetarian baked beans |
14 1/2 oz. canned diced tomatoes, undrained |
1 can (10.75 oz.) condensed tomato soup, undiluted |
1 tbsp. brown sugar |
1 tbsp. chili powder |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, cook meat and onion over medium heat until it is no longer pink; drain. 2. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through. |
