This rub was developed the DAY BEFORE the American Royal BBQ Competition in KC MO. We call it 22% because our chicken place in the top 22%! The following year we placed 11th, the next year was not our best, but we were still in the top 50%. Hopefully, this year will be the winner!!! Ingredients:
1 tablespoon hungarian paprika |
1 teaspoon celery seed |
2 tablespoons cayenne pepper |
1 tablespoon onion powder |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
2 tablespoons chili powder |
1/4 cup black pepper |
1/2 cup dry mustard |
1/2 cup light brown sugar |
1 cup kosher salt |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and use on Chicken ONLY! |
