Now this is party food! 1970's recipe Ingredients:
2 cans clam pieces |
1/4 cup clam juice |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese |
1/3 cup mozzarella (or ricotta) cheese |
8 cloves garlic, crushed |
3 tbs. lemon juice |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup italian bread crumbs |
1 sm onion, diced |
1 tsp. worcestershire |
1/4 tsp. tabasco |
parsley, garnish |
1 loaf sour dough round or other round similar bread, hollwed out in center |
Directions:
1. METHOD: 2. Melt butter and pour over bread crumbs. 3. Mix to cover all crumbs evenly. 4. Mix all items together with hand mixer and spoon into the hollowed-out round loaf. 5. Bake for approx. 30 minutes at 350°F; will be brown and bubbly. |
